ARTICLE XIII
Awards
Section 1. Prize Fund
The distribution of the prize funds will be in accordance with USBC rules.
Section 2. Perpetual Trophies
Perpetual trophies shall be used to commemorate the winners and individual accomplishments of the tournament. The following guidelines are hereby established to insure the continuity and quality of these trophies.
- No perpetual trophy shall be established without the prior approval of the Board of Directors.
- The perpetual trophies shall be detained and maintained by the Trophy Committee (chairman or his designee).

The above listed perpetual trophies are to be refined and maintained by the Board of Directors (the Trophy Committee). They will be updated at the conclusion of each tournament and stored until such time as they are to be transported to the next tournament site for display during the next tournament. The Tournament Director of the hosting agency shall display these perpetual trophies during the current tournament at the following locations:
- The tournament registration area during registration for the tournament.
- The bowling center during each event. If the Men's and Women's events are to be held in separate location, the appropriate trophies should be displayed in the appropriate location.
- The banquet during the banquet/awards.
Section 4. Trophies, Plaques, Prizes, Cash Awards and Acknowledgements.
It is the responsibility of the current Tournament Director/Hosting Agency to provide the following awards at the banquet/awards ceremony. These requirements are set forth as a minimum standard of acceptance.

(Traditionally these were the "Bed Pan" & "Toilet Seat" awards, and were handed down from tournament to tournament by the winners. Since the originals have since been lost, it is left to the discretion of the Tournament Director to find an appropriate award.)
D. Additional Awards
At the very minimum, there is to be a veral acknowledgement of the following categories. The Tournament director as his discretion, may give a cash prize or a small token trophy of these awards, if he so chooses.
